I saw today's 'Daily Sport' being sold this morning at my local newsagents.

Notice the date on that BBC article - 1st April. An April's Fool perhaps?

I think when a company goes into, "Administration" so called, "Administrators/ accountants" attempt to keep it as a going concern to try and find a buyer. This would be why you saw the doomed "newspaper" for sale in your shop.

Good point, I think Jordan has been instrumental in the long term de-popularising of the so called, "Glamour model". She could also be indirectly linked to the demise of the Sport.

Jordan has given the impression, that all glamour models are not, "The sexy girls next door" that everyone used to imagine. They are instead, money grabbing, conniving, nasty, bullying, little cheats.

She has done a great disservice to the image of all the honest, hardworking, glamour models out there trying to make a living.

Great to hear that all you in the great porn "family" are trying to help the sport, considering that it started so many careers, time to start paying back maybe?

With the best will in the world, since sales have dropped from several hundred thousand in its early years to less than 70 thousand now, I think it would take a bit more than a whip-round to save it.

"...since sales have dropped from several hundred thousand in its early years to less than 70 thousand now"

I'm always confused about newspaper, "Sales" and "Circulation" figures. I thought this was the number distributed to all the shops, but they take back the unsold papers. So in reality the actual sales of the Sport might be a heck of alot less than 70,000. Maybe 7000?

Yes i will miss the Sport...me & my friend Rona Stock appeared in their paper a few times & they also bought more of my DVD's than any other company.
Yes i will be sad to see the paper go as it kick started a lot of industry.
