If this ever gets up and running,it'll probably be just another American porn site, with a few English girls who've done the deed before...and none of the English girls from the phone channels who haven't

no sign of hiwat or what ever it was and the other guy from there team. I think they could have sunk and put a front on. I just wish they would tell us a date or give some previews of what to expect.

Am I right in saying that they are the biggest producer of porn in the UK?

There has been plenty of topis on the promotions forum making mention of the fact that Bluebird have been making a great deal of porn, both here and in the US. And this isn?t Bluebird making these claims, it is the performers themselves.

What I don?t understand is why we are denied the opportunity to purchase it?

And also on the issue of contract Girls, what is the point in signing someone to an exclusive contract if you don?t bother to release the majority of the scenes that they have performed in, for the contract to then expire (even with the additional 12 month non performance clause) and have other producers film them and release the scenes before Bluebird?

I can?t see BB going under since they must have a huge library of scenes and movies just sitting on the shelf, if they were having money trouble then I guess they would want to make money from selling their product to us and start making the return on the millions of pounds that they have spent both here and in the US. So I guess they must be more than ok money-wise.

Bluebird, please just give us the chance to give you money in exchange for your porn!

Question for samsung

Post by vostok 1 »

Samsung:

Naive is my middle name!

I guess the proof of my naivety comes in the form of not knowing why someone would spend millions on making porn both here and in the US, then not release it and yet keep on promising on here to update their site, launch Generation 2, talk about world wide distribution deals, enforce a non performance and filming clause for contract stars, arrange for contract stars to appear on Jeremy Kyle, etc.

I just don?t have a clue! Anyway, you could point me in the way of enlightenment? Come on, give this sucker an even break.....

Have been trying to "look at the bigger picture" as samsung suggested but I am none the wiser...

However I did see that Paul Chaplin, the owner of Bluebird is on wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_BW_Chaplin

I didn't realise that he has his own TV talk show. Anyone have any idea which channel it airs on?

Very interesting reading, vostok1. I have found google-type searches to various related articles to be of similar interest.

One point I did note - and I am happy to stand correctled if this is not the case - is that the main man himself seems to be the most active editor on that wikipedia post.

He would appear to be knowledgable of the law and related tax legislation, so the ongoing speculation over bluebird costs and perceived lack of material may be somewhat misguided. (Perhaps this is what the "bigger picture" reference was getting at?). Without the full facts, we shall never know. The chap is obviously well-wedged, so some alleged losses (at least in the shorter-term) on what I assume must be a very enjoyable enterprise for him personally (ie BB) surely cannot hurt too much? Especially if there are wider tax-efficiencies to be gleaned from such enterprise..?

Personally speaking, I know not of the BB problems other people have been having, as I have never used the site myself. And to be honest, I have no concern for if/when the BB website v2 will be launched as I get various HQ channels of laregly great material 24 hours a day via my TV. There is so much porn out there (the majority of it not to my taste), that even the minority %age that I like is more than ample for my needs. That's why I won't get too upset over the BB if/when question as not matter how much they produce, it will still be a small amount of the overall pie.

PS - Before/in case anyone points it out; yeah, I know Ms Rhodes has been/is on a BB contract!
