Jeffhaskeft you bring to the attention a very interesting debate about the UK porn industry and not just concerning Cate who is a lovely girl.
As a producer I?ve always tended not to shoot model partner combinations. Mainly for commercial reasons but then saying this does it matter who is doing the shagging. I?m sure most of you guys are looking at the female model not the guy?
However there has been a tendency for models to shoot with partners because they can charge a producer a little extra. As a producer I?d prefer to choose my male model and not be told who I have to have.
I certainly can see why female models want to shoot with partners. There is less risk of something going wrong or an STI. Yet, saying this we are in the porn industry and surly if you want to earn a ?bigger slice of the pie? then like most things in life there is more risk.
There are plenty of professional b/g female models out there who will work with most certed male models. My own option is that if a model is so worried about STI?s or what a partner may think then maybe b/g modelling is not her thing.
Hardcore b/g models are a very special breed and I take my hat off to those professional models like Shay Hendrix, Ellena, Syren Le, Harmony Hex, and the many more, that come alone to strange guys/girls and do a wonderful job with a great time had by all. It's not easy, it's hard work but the rewards can be great.
