I agree Ben Dover has lost his way,he seems to eager to shock and the girls he uses don't seem to have that natural air about them that they did in his early days. Still whatever happens its fair to say the films he made in the early 90s were proper classics and should be up there amongt the best brit porn ever made.

Ben Dover paved the way for most of us & every producers has their ups & downs but it don't take away the great work that made them famous in the first place. Some producers look to see whats popular & clone others work but some stick with there own ideas & take chances, its so easy to follow the pack but where would British porn be if we all did that.
We make various amateur films of all different subjects but if that one day got unfashionable we would not to change the style that first got us known either, Ben's fame is every producers envy & its what we are all trying to work to so if he is taking a break then good on him as he has earned it.

I worked with Ben last week with the lovely Shay Hendrix and Siren Lee, and there was nothing unsavoury or demeaning about the shoot..he is a true gentleman with the girls and will still give any performer in the industry a run for their money..we all had a good laugh and it was a wicked shoot..

Unfortunately I think you're wrong, I think people on the outside are far ahead of us. They are indulging in drug fuelled, perversions of their own, far in excess of alot of the drab b/g/ crap scenes that are still being produced.

As for the glamour, I'm there mate, I can now afford as many pork pies as I need and get my wardrobe at Tesco Home'n'Wear!

If you look at it that way then maybe the usual porn audience has found other ways to entertain themselves but I'm sure porn still makes for visual aids along with drugs and swimming through a sea of girly mags.

I think Mr Dover's stuff went down hill when he stopped working with Marino. The natural giggle factor went / seemed more forced.

With regards to the extreme stuff I am old fashioned.
