When Babestar took things a bit further were they really causing a problem with society? Clearly not.

They can show R18 on TV. There is nothing in current UK Law that says they can't, even Ofcon admit this.

100% correct. The ONLY reason R18 is not allowed on tv is that it's too explicit for Ofcon. They can't cope with the imagery. Of course, they say it's about child protection but that's easily disproved by a number of factors. I.M.O. if it was allowed, then it'd be a huge boost for the U.K. adult industry.

Sure it may not be written in black an white but then how come Xplicit, Sport and all these satellite channels get fined whopping amounts then?

Are you saying if they didnt pay the fines theat it cant be enforced then?

I'm sure it is written somewhere or someone (especially David Sullivan) would have challenged this so far.
