Get a room you two. Hang on get a room and do some more great scenes again. Keep up the quality work and we'll keep buying the films.

It's not just the UKAP awards which are suspect, as I recall at the first "Awards" in Brighton a few years ago Tony De Sergio was awarded best "Newcomer", although he'd done a few hundred films over the preceeding 10 years or so.
I'm sure all these kinds of awards are dodgy, even the Oscars and I bet AVN awards are made by how much cash you've spent and who you know.
Best thing is if you're going this year just have a good time and a few laughs and try to forget the politics.
I'm up for the:
"Most Bitter, Twisted and did I mention, Betrayed?" award

I was there that night. It was farcical.
So we have a guy winning best newcomer, who was doing scenes for over 10 years, and now Poppy Morgan being nominated for a lifetime achievement award where she's only been in the industry around 4 years.

A cynic would say that paying ?200 per annum to be a member of the "private" UKAP forum, would make your product more credit worthy.
But the world hates cynics !wink!

I chose to give the award to Tony, because in my opinion he and Steve Hooper were the two most reliable guys in the UK at that time, Tony had not worked with the producers I had consulted with or me so I felt it more right he had the newcomer. Every other award was in my opnion spot on and there was 60 years of porn experience used to judge it. We used official sales figures for most sold product and despite the nightmare of loosing the official venue at the last minute most people enjoyed it. If you did not then I appologise and if you contact me you can have a refund.
