Whilst I do not enjoy his movies whatsoever, I do not believe they should be banned. It's the thin edge of the wedge if we adopt a censoring attitude to him. If you don't like 'em, don't buy 'em!

The 2 films I did have of him I destroyed!

Some years back he did an interview with BGAFD, and as members we were able to put some quesitons to him. It will be in the archives somewhere.

I am surprised at the somewhat puritanical outpourings from some of the members on here every time his name is mentioned. MH is at the extreme end of pornography, but there is plenty of S&M about that depicts mutilation, scarification, body modification and worse. MFX Studios for example specialise in scat, vomit, stomach punching, debasing etc etc. Is that as bad as Max, or worse?

Human sexuality is a very broad and complex area. What floats some people's boats will be considered disgusting by others, or simply incomprehensible. Some people get off on being degraded by others, usually only temporarily, but some even choose it as a lifestyle. I do not criticise such people simply because their sexual predilictions are not to my personal taste.

Nasty 'Ol Max caters for those who like rough, debased sex. There are plenty out there who do, and a lot of them are women... It is fantasy stuff, and quite a common fantasy at that if you know your psycho-sexual research material.

I always remember his appearance in the Channel 4 documentary Hardcore with our own Leanne McQueen (who I still regard as one of our prettiest stars, a real natural beauty). It was horrifying to say the least to see the way she was treated and this was only a audition. I do not know if this hastened her departure from the industry but it was alleged her attitude to the line of work had changed.

One question I do have though is did the lovely Leanne actually make a return to the industry as I seem to recall there was talk of her doing so.

Take care all (and if anyone knows her pass on my sentiments to Leanne)

Heres an interesting, and little known 'max fact' which I will simply state, and allow whatever conclusions to be drawn, from whoever reads this...

In the first movie that Layla Jade did for Max, there is a small part at the begining of the scene, where he asks her how old she is,

Naturally, she replys '18'...

So ? Well, there are actually two versions of this scene in existance...

On both of them, the audio track is exactly the same: ie "How old are you?" "I'm 18"....

But in the alterntive version, her mouth says '12'...

For me the big difference between the s&m stuff and the MH stuff is that generally the people in the S & M films belong to the scene. No one asks a girls to turn up then when she least expects it chains her up and craps on her or starts stomach punching her. Max Hardcore however has a reputation for preying on the new, inexperienced girls who don't know what they are letting themselves in for. The guy purposely hurts and makes girls uncomfortable, to the point of putting girls in hospital. You really have to question the dressing them up to look younger than they are too. I don't think his films should be banned but I do think he should have been locked up years ago.

This topic crops up cyclically on this forum, because his work is so wrong.

What he does has nothing to do with sex. It's abuse. To me, hate films should not be allowed to be made. End of.

The porn community does itself no favours by defending him with the 'each to their own, if you start censoring things where does it end?' line.
