Don't know

No
I thought it might be interesting in the light of the recent events regarding drugs and prostitution, and with my own "limited inside knowledge" of this industry to start a legitimate discussion on what part drugs play, or don't play within the industry.

I dont know about the offers to the girls, but he certainly was spliffed up himself. As he's no longer with us, I dont wish to speak ill of the dead. It was pretty extreme stuff we were shooting, but I wasn't aware of any persausion being required. Mind you I was so busy I didn't know what time of day it was.
BTW Rebecca, if your profile pic is anything to go by, and why shouldn't it be, you are one hell of a gorgeous looking woman, if I may be so bold.

Well if you look at national statistics on drug misuse you see that a 35% of all people are using drugs on a regular basis and that 75% have try using drugs at least once. Of the 35% only a small percentage are addicts.

I for one think there are drugs and there are DRUGS. If 20 or so girls were doing hard DRUGS then I think it would probaly be a very bad thing but if they were doing recreational drugs then who gives a shit. I dont condone it and I have never tried drugs before and never intend to. But most recreational drugs are not that much worst (if at all) than alchohol.

hi, after many years in the industry myself and kelly who neither drink or takes drugs note one thing, it is aparent in every aspect of the sex industry girls do take drugs, and it is on the increase however until society make the consumtion off drugs harder to obtain the only thing left to do is to point out, to all models it will and does wreck lives.

Good point Big Yin.
Keep snorting girls.

Lets see...

Girl starts porn.
Girl starts getting to know the industry more.
Girl gets offered cocaine.
Girl becomes a regular user.
Girl now does 'extras' after scenes with the director/producer for extra cash.
Girl still needs money and starts escorting on the side.
Girl starts to charge ?100 extra -on escorting jobs- for sex without protection.
Girl passes chlamydia/gonorrhoea through industry.

Director/producer/agent likes girls who need the money so a little 'charlie use' is welcomed until she becomes unreliable. The agent likes it because the girl won't refuse jobs most other girls will, and the producer/director likes it because he's more chance of getting his dick sucked from the talent for a little extra.

Girls who don't snort are less likely to take weird job offers, cheap job offers, extra services after scenes, and are generally less likely to spread disease. Of course there are exceptions, but generally I'm on the right track right?

That's my take on it anyway......

AH, MY FAVE SUBJECT !
i spend hours talking about this subject regularly with various people ! im very anti drugs and do not take them myself. yes i drink alcohol but thats to have a laugh ! plus alcohol is legal !!!!

im shocked by the amount of girls in the porn biz that do drugs,i rekcon about 8 girls out of 10 are regular users in the uk biz. i hate going on a shoot and having to work with a drugged up fucked up girl, or indeed producer ! its happened to me so many times over the years !
ive seen producers openly offering drugs to models on many occasions ! we have to remember this is illegal ! ive been tempted so many times to inform the police but its just not worth the hasle !

on various shoots i have worried contantly about my drink getting spiked so always take my own water to shoots with me.
its just such hard work and so embarrasing working with fucked up girls especially when its happened on live tv shows too !!!!

most of them look a right state and its ruined their looks. i can only think the reason girls so drugs whilst working is so that they can handle what they are doing without feeling too violated etc, they are more likely to do extreme or painful sexual acts that a non user would never do.

IF YOU CANT HANDLE DOING PORN WITHOUT BEING HIGH THEN YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT, FULL STOP !

these girl will end up mentally scarred for the rest of their lives.

Excellent piece Faye.

When the anti porn lobby go on about porn degrading and/or exploiting women the stock answer is that the women choose to do porn.

If they were all like Faye (who let's face it isn't exactly shy or reserved in front of the camera) the stock answer would stand up to scrutiny.

Girls who do drugs degrade themselves and hand ammunition to the "anti" brigade as they lose control either whilst under the influence or, longer term, when it becomes known that they will "do more" if offered drugs. They then become exploited and degraded.

If the industry is ever to have an "acceptance" equal to the breadth of the use of porn, more people like Faye need to stand up, be counted and stand up to those who use drugs to push either themselves, or those they employ, beyond their limits
