They can make many times the amount of money in America before they become washed up. The US industry is hundreds of times larger than the UK.
A better example would have been Holly Wellin, who is English, from the North-West and has made all her movies in America.

I think it makes sound sense to experience porn here on these shores before venturing forth to the USA just to find out if you want to do it in the first place. I believe Roxy Jezel started out in the US which is why her work is near non existent here (but i got her ha ha ha)

But you just did. I dare say some girls want to experience the glamour of L.A. and everything that goes with it. No matter how good British porn maybe it just simply does not offer the same experience. Working on a rainy day in a grubby semi-detatched in Manchester or working in sunny L.A. I know which I'd choose. The sex and the hassle of a shoot may well be the same but the surroundings are not.

Yeah but a crap shoot is a crap shoot no matter what name it goes by....even in sunny climes. When people are shagging do you think they really care that much about the location? More often than not its still just work. Even shooting on a hot summer day can have its problems...But yeah sure. i see your point. i wouldnt mind being there myself but a grubby bedsit does add a bit of grit and ambience to the proceedings. theres a certain something that is hyper real about it.
