This law if passed will become a big money spinner for the lawyers because how can you define what is porn or what is extreme, there has been many a film or programme on TV depicting extreme sexual violence so will this mean that a programme or film that depicts someone being raped cannot be shown if so you can say goodbye to the Prime Suspect series and lots of other programmes, or will this law only apply to the internet yes the lawyers must be rubbing their hands, isnt Cherie Blair a lawyer!annoyed!

Lawyers will have a field day:
BEERFEST
To obtain this category cuts of 0m 9s were required. The cuts were Cuts for Category. Distributor chose to remove scene of sexualised asphyxiation in line with BBFC policy and Guidelines and in order to achieve the requested `15`. An uncut `18` was available`.
Yet this requires a compulsory cut at R18. Does the left hand know what the right is doing?

Oh my god I'm gonna be the first one to get nicked because I've got Irreversible on dvd where Monica Belluci gets raped up the arse for a good 10 minutes in a dingey subway before the rapist batters her face to oblivion...Not to mention the straight guy that bludgeons the guy in the gay club to death with a fire extinguisher. Oh yeah this is art and entertainment right?
Oh yeah and anyone who has got Blue Velvet in their collection should expect a dawn raid at sometime soon....Oh yeah I guess thats entertainment too...
Baise Moi anybody...Oh thats ok too because it wasnt directed by one french woman but two which makes it ok then
Anatomy Of Hell Rocco pulls his meat out of the steaming snatch of co star to open up the red flood gates to which they collect in a glass and drink....But this is entertainment too.
I must be stupid then. Whats the difference?

As far as I remember hearing on TV last week, yes she is, and she is "well in" with the "power crowd" of lawyers who have the ear of the government leaders.

I doubt her crusade, as noble as it was is going to stop people raping and killing anyway so it is a pointless exercise and a waste of money as stated earlier by others.
If anything its going to cause confusion and needless amounts of money being wasted on specualting what is violent or not and it will all be chaotic.
Once again people will be running around like headless chickens clucking awaylike fools trying to define this big grey area of porn totally avoiding the real facts by using porn as a scape goat again. Boooooorring!!!!
