hardly a reason to ban porn when its just a True Detective magazine and a bunch of soft core.
My argument would be that maybe the use of this material while it may have kindled the fantasy that was always there anyway, may have also slowed down his propensity to kill more than he did.
In short if this material was never there he would have probably committed more murders and rapes....So what difference does it make?
Banning porn is not a solution at all. Besides how can you ever ban something now that people can make from their own bedrooms and swap anyway over the internet?

The vast majority of people who want to ban porn are religous fruitcakes and feminists. Where is the evidence of harm? The High Court couldn't find any when it fully allowed the R18 classifcation. If you want to ban or censor something it must cause harm, the 'we don't like it' defence does not even come into it. I don't like gay porn, but I don't want it banned just because I don't like watching it, I'll just change the channel or watch something that I do like instead.

Basically Bundy went into the interview claiming full responsibility for what he did but then caught on to what the religious fruitcfake wanted him to say - that porn was to blame. They both used each other. It was one last desperate attempt at redemption for Bundy and he made a great poster boy for the far-right religious lobby who want porn banned.
Blaming the True Detective magazines is no more valid than blaming porn.
And when Bundy was a nipper Playboy was only just coming out so there was no real porn as we know it.
All they found when Bundy was nicked was a bunch of cheerleader magazines aimed at 12 year old girls.
The porn argument is a crock of shit.
Bundy killed because he was mentally ill - a psychopath and it's as simple as that.

I just want to say that I read the Guardian, have done since my early teens, and shoot porn quite a lot. I will admit it can be a bit po-faced sometimes though, when it comes to porn.

I think he can blame porn for killing people if he wants too, others blame the way the person looked at them, or even because they were bored and had nothing to do..
It's very strange how only 1 person in 2006 years have blamed porn for killing someone and now its a big epidemic that has to be stopped.

I think if Channel 4 want to push to ban anything for fear that it might corrupt or encourage people into violent action then they're probably better off banning documentaries about mass murderers and serial killers.
