The answer YES when it comes to TVX etc.

The 'point' of softcore stations is to do exactly that.

Forget all the bollocks that comes from TVX etc 'we would if we could but can't so it's not our fault' the reason they do it is because they know full well that people will subscribe to it assuming that the promos actually do what they say 'show hard' after........


I actually don't mind softcore sometimes and think some of the models doing soft g/g stuff are a lot hotter than some of those doing all the hard but I choose to watch that knowing full well that it will be soft.

There's some good points been raised so far. I think it depends on the genre. If you want penetrative sex then softcore is probably a bit pointless but there is some great softcore girl girl stuff around e.g. The adventures of Sandy on the adult channel.

The Tamara production Schoolgirl Fantasy was probably the most erotic film I ever saw. The BBFC didn't give it a certificate though because it was just so f*cking realistic, even though there was no sex. Even the girl girl stuff was tame.

Personally, I find most hard core films yucky anyway and prefer full on girl-girl stuff every time. Can girl-girl ever be genuinely hardcore? ah, that's another thread!

The difference between hardcore & softcore for us producers is that there are 40,000 outlets that sell softcore & only 200 licensed shops that can sell hardcore, now you understand why softcore is still soaring.

Name us a satelitte company British or European that will give hard working producers a fair price (i hear nothing but silence)
Most Producers live on a humble income & its their love of the industry that keeps them going. As i say to new people trying to get into the industry don't expect to earn much for the first few years.
Soft porn does earn far more, ask the Gold brothers & Playboy who have carved empires that no hardcore producing company could ever match.
Being a customer or on looker you see a different side to porn.
