"Owns" (and "pwns" or "pwn3d") is net-speak for 'is better than', like "pr0n" for 'porn'.

I have joined the above site and others based on Brit Porn and having seen what they have to offer, I feel totally justified in slagging them off. I won't mention names, (as some post here) but I have commented on a couple in the links section of this website.

Seeing as you can't edit posts I'll add this.

I am a fan of Brit Porn, but tha large portion of the industry here seems to be run by con artists.
Fool me once; Shame on me. Fool me twice, Shame on you. Except in my case it has been 4 or 5 times so I'll never bother again.

Even if punters do read the posts on here I wonder how many bother to read the comments on sites in the Links section. I've posted a few adverse ones too.

I didnt come on here and simply say ' ont go on pure cheek - its shit' i gave valid reasons as to why - for the simple reason that i wouldnt want anyone else wasting their money.

Have to agree, from the majority of britsites i have joined, a lot i feel i have been ripped off on, from (in no order)

quality of there videos
ease of use of the websites
download speeds
drm crap
quantity of content.

Not long before christmas, i joined a brit porn site, which i see mentioned quite a lot and has links from here and although the preview/opening pages looked ok. The actual members page just had

VIDEO 1 - VIDEO 2 - VIDEO 3 - VIDEO 4 etc etc

no graphics, no preview, no comments, just simple text links with no description whatsoever as to what you were viewing, Needless to say, i quit in about 5 days of joining and just accepted that my subscription was wasted money. Also other big uk sites which make it impossible to save the video, but then split it into incredibly stupid small 2 minutes clips each........so that you watch 2 mins, then have to close the mediaplayer/realplayer and click another link (wow, you really thought it through from a consumer point of view)

The only sites that i actually believe i have got value for money from and ones i would subscribe to again and again and again are.

And i totally agree with the uncovered sites - they are the bollocks, have regular updates and the content is A1 - I can imagine running a site like that is fucking hard work, but i bet they retain their customers - plus they make shit hot DVD's.

Sadly though, i have joined more crap sites that good ones over the years - most of them british.
