Ugh, actually I can't stand Budapest. Yes, Prague is great and NYC is cool too (but I lived there for a while and have never missed it) but London has such character...driving past Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square on the way to stripping jobs, etc was something I always loved.

I will make it back there...it's just a question of when!

Yeah, but apart from that it's not too bad is it! Personally I'll probably never visit the place again ... it's cheaper to fly to anyehere in Europe. Sometimes it's as cheap to go to San Francisco if you pick up a good flight ... A few years ago I got a return on a KLM flight via amsterdam to SF for ?212 - and hotels are a damn sight cheaper than London.

I reckon the Luftwaffe had the right idea!! There's a few nice bits of architecture here and there but nothing to write home about, all the goods bands play there which is cool but you have to wade through the shit of London to see a gig. The Who are from London so that's cool. The genuine Londoners are pretty decent people but they fuck off to Essex and Kent as soon as they make a few bob so they sure know the score. It's virtually impossible to drive around there and the public transport is so foul it would be illegal to transport cattle in the same conditions. It's a huge, stinking turd of a place really and best avoided. New York...now THAT is a city!!
