It should never be over looked that links might be clean when posted and thats it...spyware,trojans or viruses can be added at anytime
which is why I said the onus of blame if a surfer gets infected is on them and not the poster IMHO

Had no issues with any of Megaton's posts.

try to use Mozilla as a browser instead of I.E. and run anti-virus/firewall software.

To get rid of anything such as spyware, trojans etc run adaware and Hijack this. Both are free and work well.

Let me just say that I am not a webbo nor have any interest in any web site.
My comments were made purely from my experience with one of the links,
(don`t know which one) to help anyone else avoid this prob. I agree that the operator is advised to run all protection possible ( which I have had for months with no problem). This one was called HolicaB and was impossible for me to get rid of, I eventually had to restore the PC.
(I run AVG + Sygate Firewall on IE).( yes on both laptops)

In future I won`t bother making what i believe to be a constructive comment.
