I do have to agree with Steveuk a bit here, she got a bit of a hard time.
I don't post on this side much cos us punters can get a lot of abuse if we disagree with the 'establishment'
I can see where the sceptics are justified, but if Sally was genuine then some of her emails saying she had to do bg or had to do anal to get work were pretty disturbing.
If genuine then she was obviously very niave Re. her posts on condoms etc and thus some of the email 'advice' was a bit worrying
Yes a lot of people did give some good points, Emmab seemed to give a good set of ideas (amongst others) without the scepticism.
If it was a scam then we got sucked in good with the number of posts her threads got.
If she was who she said she was then it would take a brave girl to come into the industry

I agree with you Neil. I contacted Sally a few times recommending photographers etc, and saw she was genuine. But you must admit she didn't help herself in the first place by calling Marcus Allen a stupid old man!

I think it's a shame when an industry that thrives on new talent treats someone who seems genuinely interested in getting involved with such contempt.

But maybe i'm a bit old fashioned.

I can only go on what I read on the forum; but I think we're overstating things here. Newcomers to any industry expect to have to earn whatever respect they can command. Look at how models are treated (by some producers) in the US- take Max Hardcore for example.

I don't see people jumping to defend wannabe producers when they get flamed.

But generally of course I agree. Politeness and common decency should be expected. But let's have less of the sanctiminious hand-wringing please.

I think she just learnt early that this forum can be a tough crowd sometimes
