I'm with Pheonix on this one. A tattoo on the bottom of the back is very sexy. Ok, at their worst tattoos can be a reflection of a hastily made decision - an old lover - a favourite band. But at their best they are body art and an expression of a person's personality. Personally I like those Maori ones or Celtic designs best. Like everything you can have too much of something or make poor choices but a well chosen and well placed tattoo or piercing can be damn sexy and can accentuate a lovely body and person.

Come to think of it, would Sexy Sally be able to spell thesis?

Was that insult really justified?

I think lots of girls in the industry have tattoos because, well, lots of girls have tattoos. It's a sign of the times. I'm a civil servant and there are girls in my office who have tattoos. If female civil servants can have them I can't see why anyone would raise an eyebrow at porn actresses having them.

Girl I picked up from club last year had tattoo at bottom of her back with the word "mum" in big letters in the middle of it! Totally put me off doing her doggy style, I just don't want to think about Mum when I'm shagging! lol.

Must admit I'm not to keen on them. Michelle B recently told me she was thinking of having one, but I told her it was definitely one of her good points being cartoon-free, and I hope she doesn't. Fashion changes so much, what seems classy and tasteful now is very likely to seem naff and embarrasing in the very near future.

I suppose because it's so hard to find now, it just makes a girl who has no tattoos all the more special. A bit like a girl with real boobs.

Hi,

I got my tattoo's because I wanted them not because of a mad drunken evening or a reblious period in my life etc.
I chose my tattoo's and love them, I didn't just randomly select them because everyone else had one.

I think its personal taste and how you feel, I wouldn't change mine for the world and yes this puts some people off and I may well loose work but atleast I'm me!

Tats are crap (except on Maori warriors). They?re unglamorous, unfeminine and seriously chavey

"But what matters is you, and what you want to do."

Maybe, but not in this arena. In this arena what matters is what the punter likes and it's quite clear that even on this forum, where contrunbotors are inclined to be more amenable to the 'porn trash' look, that the consensues of opinion is that plastic boobs, tats and all the rest of it, are naff. I'm not at all supprised at the surge in popularity of 70's and 80's movies that I've noticed of late.

"Thank Christ we still have a choice !!!"

Choice? What choice? Punters might still have a bit of a choice - they can stick to the golden oldies and classics section. But producers have no choice - unless they want to make movies with shapeless birds sporting tats, piecings, shaved beavers, fake boobs and chavey, bottle-blonde, plastered down hairstyles. As a producer I don't want to make movies with those kinds of birds - which is why I don't shoot very much at all nowadays. A number of my producer pals share the same sentiments, but they carry on regardless (thus fuelling the fire). But I can't be too harsh; they need to pay their mortgages.
