Joe A has summed things up quite well. Be advised however that there *may* be some major changes happening very soon with the US 2257 compliance laws.
Whilst your not affected as much, as your in the UK, if you host, proccess or have US affiliates, you may be affected by the proposed new regulations.
Its still a bit unclear how it affects non US webmasters but certainly something to keep an eye on...

Matt...
If we have to pass those details to our hosts etc. we will be contravening the UK Data Protecion Act..
We'll just have to wait and see

Exactly Joe, if we comply we are legal with US law but may well indeed break UK law. We really can't win... time to move everything out of the US perhaps?

In my opinion ccbill are the best cc processors, running your own site(s) can be very successful but bewarned it is not as easy as some people think, adult sites is a very competitive business and a lot is learnt by trial and error. As you have already found out people dont like giving away to much information that they have gained. We have been making our own adult web sites for a couple of years and have built up quite a good business, but as time goes by you will learn what works and what doesnt work, what works for one site may not work for another, there is no magic formula.
Thanks
