The problem is that most porn producers seem to operate according to their own agenda without any consideration of what their customers actually want.

There was some discussion on these pages a little while back about cumshots. 99% seem to feature the stud pulling his cock out of whichever orifice it is currently occupying and wanking himself off over the girl's face, tits, arse or whatever. Is that sexy? No, in most situations of course it bloody well isn't. Why? Because none of us do it and we don't do it because when we're having sex we want the girl to bring us off. If we want a wank we can have one without bothering to involve a girl.

But when this point was made several alleged porn producers replied to the effect that it was far cheaper to do it that way (why?) and that they had no intention of changing their ways - fuck what the customers want.

Presumably the same thinking is behind the current trends. No expensive sets or wardrobe, just get the girl out of her clothes as quickly as possible and get stuck in.

As well as the lack of heels, stockings and sexy undies there is also a lack of build-up, foreplay etc to heighten the erotic experience.

There is, of course, room for everything in porn - girls with no knickers on park benches, wide open arses and sometimes even wanking over a girl's face (part of porn's attraction is the fantasy of having a girl completely surrendering and allowing the man to do whatever he likes), but I'm sure lots of us also like the glamorous, erotic style too.

the first part of this post seems, IMO, to summerise what most people on this forum seem to think. We also often hear about producers/photographers etc saying how poor money in the business is these days. It's just my feeling put if producers went back to making what the majority want rather than the 'niche' markets (gaping/gangbang etc) there would be such a better return.

I would also say the gonzo format has been done to death also, if anyone wants to see a great film they just have to nosy through Ben's collection, anything new will have to be very special to beat it.

I would love to see a return to the style of simple stuff, sexy girl, nice clothes, good sex. I don't seem to come across much new stuff like this
