Enough arse licking anyway (no pun intended), your post gave me food for thought about a few issues.
I am concerned that we cannot always know which girls do parties, and certainly no idea what girls do in their own time!
However, if we make the lines between pro and amateur clearer, new girls will be able to understand the difference and make the choice themselves (I believe to force girls to do one or the other is near impossible, and perhaps morally wrong - we are adults after all) about what they wish to do. I understand this is an adult FILM site, but my worry is girls who do both for whatever reason may feel persecuted, and girls who choose to go for the (more lucrative??? i dunno...)party scene will be ostracized by their friends in the industry who have chosen to go the professional route.

I'd just like to make it clear that I do fully support anything that will make our industry safer, and fair play to you Shaz for being brave enough for raising the issues in your post. I think anyone with any sense will not be offended by your views, party hosts and girls alike. We all wish to be safe, and hopefully those of us who are serious about having a professional career in adult film will heed your warning.

Well said Shaz, I never got round to working with but I wish I had. It?s refreshing to hear the true facts of life coming from one of the girls so intimately involved in the business.
?Parties? as they are constituted are just an excuse for guys to pay to have sex with as many girls as possible. And for girls to make money out of having sex with as many men as possible, the fact that a camera may be there does not make it sound any better. There is a name for it and I don?t like to hear that name used in the same breath as ?I?m just making a film?. I am against that but if you look at the exploitation involved, the health risk and the demeaning of the girls and the ?punters? then it?s the girls themselves who should be calling a halt to it. They have nothing to do with the adult film business, nothing to do even with escorting, there is no doubt what will happen, there is no choice and there?s no nice way of putting it. An escort has a choice, if she is not easy with the situation, or the client she presumably can find a way out. At these other events it is expected that the girls will have sex with whomever.

Those in this business are never going to be treated with any respect or taken seriously while we ally ourselves with pimps and with prostitutes; again, I have nothing against the latter, but not in my business.

Maybe the nasty events in America represent a wake up call for the British industry, and just one passing thought, I am not too sure of my facts but I think every case of aids in this business can be traced out of the business and back to prostitution, perhaps it?s time to stand back and look at those we call fellow artists, or producers or agents or whatever and question the work we are all asked to do.

Some of us over the years have paid a price for being in this industry, we have been prosecuted and persecuted, had our doors kicked in, our children thrown out of bed our wives humiliated, stood up in courts locked up and called all the vile names the twisted minds of the guardians of British morality could think of.
Now the business is entering a new era, don?t lets make the mistake of giving in to greed and accepting any standard of behaviour as long as it earns money. There are some great girls around at the moment, it would be nice to see just a few of them become stars, be at the top of a respected industry.

Some people may not exactly state things too well but the point is that the party scene is a big risk, I'm sure you agree as you have stopped doing it and I for one am certainly totally behind that decision.

The fact that some of these girls then extend that risk by working with professional people in the porn business means that they are risking everyone, not just themselves. We ALL want to be as safe as possible and to feel that the professionals are at least doing their best to make sure everyone is. Obviously this isn't always guaranteed, not a lot in life is but the party scene is a blatent disregard for the safety of all the professional guys and girls that the girl then shoots with.

No one is demeaning the girls for doing the parties (well most people dont) but is it little surprise that they are not happy with the girls taking such a big risk...none of the guys are asked to produce any kind of health checks and there it is a lot harder to control.

If girls want to do parties, go for it but stick to parties!
