I don't work for C & E but I've been sorting packets for Royal Mail for over 20 years & I can tell you just by looking at a packet who's sent it & what it's likely to contain (or have a reasonable guess at it). You just get a feel for these things. So I don't think you're going to get any scat material past C & E now that you've already had some seized.
Maybe you could ask MFX to use different packaging & stick a fake return address on it (e.g. musicsounds.com). Also, use another address now that they've got your own on file & definitely have your packets addressed to a fictitious woman. It's my experience that women only ever order fitness, dieting & music videos.
Hope that's of some help.

Thanks.

I still haven't received it, so it's obviously been seized again, although I'm still waiting for the confirmation.
It is annoying when there are so many worse things in this world that they still have to bother about things like this.
I suppose they have to be wary of paedophile material, but that's quite rightly illegal everywhere.
What pisses me off is when the material is made by consenting adults and purchased by consenting adults for use in private, and is perfectly legal in some countries yet doesn't seem to be acceptable here.

One more thing, how do you account for the fact that I have received similar material earlier this year?

I think redprof's idea is quite reasonable, but I would add that you could ask for it to be packed differently and also sent to, say, a relative in another town but not one with the same surname, and possibly female. But warn her what she is about to receive.

I have used www.dv-depot.com in the past, they will generally try to disguse DVDs as other things. They are in Canada. You can also opt for the DHL option at an added price.

Your Choice also post within the UK

Just when I thought they'd been seized again and I wasn't going to get them I received the movies today mailed from Europe.

So big thanks to MFX and big bollocks to UK customs who it seems are about as efficient as all authorities!

And just to reassure any moralists out there I won't be ordering any more as I don't want to risk my hard earned again.

What does the DHL option entail???? Not being shot at by Iraqi militants as per this morning's Daily Maile.

You were lucky. It's C&E policy to confiscate this type of material 'should' they find it, but of course not everything gets checked.

...and the corollary is, it shouldn't put you off ordering in future, as long as you accept that the risk of confiscation is ever-present.

Had 3 DVDs nicked this week: as a percentage, that's about 0.5.
