Models who should retire gracefully

I almost feel sorry for certain Models who should have retired many years ago respectfully.
So sad to see them scraping the barrel and embarrassing for them and people like us who watch them on TV. Such as Lucy Gresty and Lynda Leigh and a few more. Heard that Lynda has always relied on drugs to stay awake.

Back almost 20 years ago Lucy Gresty said she would retire from modelling at the latest by 40. From her Purpleport profile that would have been 11 years ago.

First overall models who IMO fit this category must still be getting a worthwhile income.

Second with no work experience in a different career, as against minimum wage not to mention zero hours contract jobs, getting a foot on the ladder is probably difficult. Kaz B, while a few years younger, has a university degree and for a year or so worked at the BBC before moving to modelling. I wonder what she is doing now and what opportunities are open to her ?

Third their modelling careers may count against them. With the internet it is impossible to keep the past low profile.

Fourth TV companies etc. are probably struggling to fill their slots with so few younger models around.

Like you I feel sad they have not moved on.
