Ordinariness... that's my whole point - I don't think she is in any way ordinary... I think she looks upon herself as being big time mainstream - well, maybe not "big time" - but I get the feeling that she likes to look upon herself as the sort that mixes with the glitterati, premiership footballers, Eastenders cast etc... I genuinely feel she's had her moment in the spotlight so far as that goes, yet I feel she still clings to it - and I'd rather see a raw performance, loaded with raw, nasty sexual energy from the likes of Angel Long than I would from a half-hearted "has been" socialite - or even an ordinary girl next-door type... thats only my personal opinion of course...

But in fairness, the one hard core shoot she did showed promise! The guy was an ape, but she was comfortable fucking in front of the camera (unlike say Linda leigh who only did the one shoot too)

I agree with you entirely CP - I'm not overly into the "I'm a porn star therefore I need to look like a porn star" mode of thinking...

And that is one of the reasons I like Angel Long - it's not in her looks, she hasn't thought "hmm... I best get myself a pair of DD's" - she's all natural, what you see is what you get and what really hooks me about her performance is her presence - the facial expression, the raw sexual nastiness about her, the filthy talk, the grunts and the growls....

There is a stereotype surrounding the porn industry and I for one one am not a fan of it... having said that, I dont find an enhanced bust a turn off - far from it - I just think it is unneccessary distraction... I think good porn is about presence, about natural facial expression, not about playing to the camera, playing to the audience.... It's about being totally liberated, getting into the spirit of the performance, being comfortable about what you're doing and I genuinely cannot see the likes of LDM slipping into that role...

Chemistry - I think that is more a "nice to have" than an essential... Obviously, if the chemistry is there, there is EVERY chance that the product is going to look natural... But the mark of a good porn star is that she can engross herself in the role regardless... And I do think I have done Layla Jade a disservice by suggesting that her stuff may be getting that "choreographed" feel to it... it may be more that she is becoming extremely comfortable in the role and is "slipping into character", but for me, she's always working with the camera in mind... But having said that - playing to the camera is not always a bad thing either... It's obviously essential in the gonzo format...

I would encourage you to get some Angel Long stuff - as I said - she doesn't have typical porn star attributes - 6ft tall, slim, and what?"B"-cup breasts??? The thing about her, for me anyway, is that she has a certain "raw" nasty girl quality about her - and that really grabs me by the balls...

Hardly what you'd call "girl next door", but at the same time, not what you'd call stereotypical porn star looks either...

CP... I fully understand your "shock, horror", sorta deflated reaction to the 6ft tall revelation... I am a "short arse" - 5ft8, I have to say that if I were in a pub confronted with LDM on one side and Angel Long on the other - I know precisely where I'd head... straight to LDM - but she'd probably smack me square in the kisser, given what I've said about her!!!

The point is - I don't necessarily think porn is about finding a performer who meets your criteria for the ideal woman... I've said that many times before.
