was going to e-mail you this, but seeing as the debate has opened here...

- Content excellent - UKSH is a great series and should have such a web presence
- was going to raise the "interlaced line effect" issue but seems to have been covered a lot better by someone else above (who clearly knows a lot more about the tech issues than I!)
- Would agree to keep clips WMV so you can have a quick preview before deciding whether to d/l
- IMHO, you can only really aim at the broadband end of the market with video d/l sites (look at the success of Adultbouncer)

My only real issue with the site is in terms of layout. Rather than grouping the clips by "activity", to me it would make more sense to group by scene. E.g., if you look round the various sections you can piece together practically a complete Karina Currie scene, but with the current layout you have to dig round for them. To me, would make more sense to lay them out by scene, have preview pics of different bits of the scene (ideally ones that show who's in it) and a text description - actresses, what they're doing etc. You might want to have a look round some of the preview pages at as a good example of this sort of layout.

In this way, you would also be able to indicate updates easier by the simple expedient of putting most recently uploaded scenes at the top of the page with an upload date (again, instead of having to root round for them - we are lazy buggers after all!).

Good site of an excellent series, though. All credit to you for opening it up to the critical glare of the BGAFD forumites.

Found 2 videos of Karina Clark giving and recieving oral from the luckiest man around - is there any more footage of this where they go further (a photo on the site seems to indicate there is but no video I could find) - if there is please post it - I can't find mention of this in the Studenthouse 4 video review - is it an outtake or from another one not yet released?

Yes they do go further, Karina's in UK Student House 8 which will be released in the summer.
She also appears in UK Vice Girls 1 which is due to be released in the next few weeks. Both b/g scenes
In terms of seeing her on the website as some of the clips are changed weekly and they are split into different acts then the rest of the scene will be there soon.
Cant guarantee when though.

There are very good reasons for recycling old material - the main one being that it tends to feature the type of attractive, desirable or interesting performers that - most of our clients at least - want to see. I've not seen a Student House movie but I have noted the favourable reports on the technical quality of the productions. However, from what I can see of the publicity blurb and pictures they are certainly not movies I would be buying if I were still a punter. The first thing that strikes me is the sexlessness and blandness of the performers (a few forumites have reeled off names that mean nothing outside of this forum) and the second is the style of sex itself - non-erotic, pointless, perfunctory, over the top, ?havin? a lark? production line sex. What?s all that about? Just leaves me cold I?m afraid.

I've come to the conclusion that because of the general blandness and crapness of performers these days that, apart from the odd special, I'm just not interested in making movies anymore. Why bother, hey? Look at it this way. If you walked into a restaurant 10 years ago with Misty McCain or Louise Hodges on your arm every geezer in the place would turn their heads and wonder who and what you were - Well-minted media magnet? Ruthless crime boss? Surley no ordinary mortal man could afford such a stunning bird of paradise? Walk into a restaurant with a UK Student House Bird on your arm and none one would bat the slightest eyelid - 'cept maybe the head waiter who might take issue with your escorts style-free jeans 'n' trainers. That's the problem with new porn movies there are no fabulous babes for the majority of ordinary geezers to focus on and get excited about.

Contrast that with the early days of Brit-porn - The 'American Buttman In London' era with world-class babes like Louise and Misty. We used to devour anything that was even remotely British. Our cocks fair throbbed with anticipation at the thought of a new Brit movie, any Brit movie. Now they?re so tiresome you'd have to pay me to sit down and watch one (that goes for most American and European too.)

I've been trying to play a few sample clips, but every time I click on one the site asks for membership and password details but refuses to accept 'openday/openday'. What gives?

Yup, I had the same problem. Using broadband, but it just hung on the members login page.

Sounds OK, but there are lines all over the clips. I have never downloaded anything so bad before. You can hardly watch the clips.

I'm on 56k and I can get past the members' login page (after about six or seven tries!), but when I try to watch a vid clip another password box pops up and won't let me go any further.
