Hello everyone on this site. I am a 26 year old male that is interested in getting into porn. From the research that I've done, I understand how to go about that. My question is therefore not one of how to get into it, but rather one of logistics. I live in Cornwall and because of various reasons, it wouldn't be easy for me to move to say, London. So, is it even possible for me to get into porn living in Cornwall and the amount of travelling I would have to do? I look foward to hearing from performers and producers alike, particularly anyone in the South West, thanks in advance!

Personally I can't really say regarding the South West as I'm located just above the West Midlands (halfway between Birmingham and Manchester) but I do believe that a reasonable amount of "action" takes place around the Bristol area.

On the money side of things, how many shoots could an established stud hope to get on average per month? What kind of a 'wage' would it average out to? I'd be in the biz firstly for the sex, the money would be secondary. If I could make equivalent to a part time job wage having sex, I'd be happy!

Bristol is a small but decent hub. London is obviously good and Manchester, Nottingham, Leicester and Birmingham all have productions...

Unless your one of the main 7 or 8 studs working you'll be lucky to do 4 shoots a month... and chances are 3 of them will be freebies...

So you'll be earning ?150 a month.

After expenses of ?400 for travel, certs and viagra you'll be at a loss of ?250 a month.

From an accounts point of view - this is working at a 250% loss.

However, if you are smart, and so far the jury is out with you on that one, I would suggest contacting the main studs in this industry and talk to them. Become their friends, see if that helps

For the short term... I wouldnt be selling your house if I were you...

Cumalot, the fact that you feel there is something to 'research' sends out all the wrong signals. No guy who wants to do porn and decides he's gonna do it needs to research jackshit. There's nothing to research.
