AITA are still in discussions with an insurance company or arranging a policy that will best support the adult business/ performer.

Joining AITA and bring your voice to the debates is welcome, all performers and producers should be members and support the UK adult industry. You all want this looking after, but why is it not supported????

Kim I always find it more assuring these companies afford our associations the face time to attend meetings where you can get questions like this answered directly.

Just dont sign on the dotted line until you read the fine print first !happy!

Kim, how could you possibly expect any company to be able to provide written assurances relating to the actions of their competitors?

The fact is that AITA are trying to set up an arrangement with a firm that are prepared to look favourably on the industry. There's no compulsion to use it if you can get a better deal elsewhere, and you may even find that the covers on offer relate to risks to your business that you've not even contemplated.

I think AITA did a great job with the false hiv incident and as a performer i find it very reasuring that there is a prodcedure in place incase such awful events should happen again,

Im a member of AITA and am all for stamps and database but don't agree with 14 day testing, the problem isn't the testing its performers doing non-certified bareback/owo and faking certs.
If everyone had genuine certs and used protection for both penetration & oral with non-certified people then the cert system would work.

I think the clinics wouldnt validate 14 day tests because there isnt time enough to warrant the accuracy of a test though I appreciate hearts are all in the right place when it comes to safety
