The key is in the error, as I explained. FileZilla is trying to retrieve the directory listing and AW won't let it. Try Core FTP.

and entered my registered email address... I take it you use the full email address including the @ and the .com ???

Why cant they make it easier... only time I have had a problem doing a FTP Upload

Just tried it again as you have done it and it works for me. The difference with AW is that the server is "write-only" to stop people seeing other people's uploads. Firewall problem at your end?

Nope... I even turned the firewall off I use FTP all the time to upload content to our paysites... makes no sense

So the password is your email with Adultwork right, as in the full email ?

sorry to add to the confusion. but actually how much money is there to be made. say I had a dozen clips uploaded, how much revenue would there be, and also how do I get paid- is it monthly? anually? is it by bank transfer?

I'm going to get into the business half because i want to earn money from it. but also because I don't think there is a great deal of good british content about. it's those damn americans that get te biggest slice of the pie!!

They pay when you request it. If you request it by a Monday night, you get it as a transfer or a cheque two weeks later.

Dont start me on adultwork and FTP uploads.
I tried my normal FTP program but they dont allow/ recognise that.
So I downloaded core ftp and that didnt work !
After fucking about for a whole day trying to upload variuos ways I bitched about it on twitter for a while and adultwork replied and gave me screen shots of that options to dial into core ftp. then it worked,i wasnt happy.
I did try their help topics but you might aswell just ask a stranger on a street corner as they will be more helpful.
