Mandatory condom use & permits to film?

I had no idea you needed a permit to film porn in the US I wonder how long it will be before the government try to set up a task force to deal with this if it is on the agenda at all

If you add the fact that Los Angeles have mandate condom use i all their productions I wonder how long it will be before it is introduced here.



These things are rarely met with any opposition. Case in point was ATVOD recently.

The use of condoms will be fought more fiercely than ATVOD, believe me we have tried for years to introduce them & found only about 10% of the people we asked to be in favour of them.

As we mainly film with swingers etc they all use condoms anyway so the audience who watch our films are quite happy to see them, as long as we end with the norm cum shots usually facial its still real porn to them.
Our viewers regard the use of condoms as responsible & how most normal guys & girls would have an elicit one night stand.

It will be a good few years before they are made law here as the UK is so behind in organization & safety compared to the States, we do agree that yes films will still be made without condoms even if it eventually becomes law.
You will always get people operating outside the rules & to be honest if they didn't we would not of had a UK adult industry in the first place.

The fanny fairies (the nurses who visit us for tests & certs each month) have asked us to talk at a hospital college about how we safeguard ourselves in the industry & how commercial film producing can influence the stars into taking greater risks than they need to , also how important it is for local hospitals to carry on testing industry folk when the government might have to pull the plug on this to save money.

If hospitals have funding for adult stars tests reduced or pulled because they think we are a lost cause then its up to us to change things, its not a "wear a condom don't wear a condom" thing anymore but providing a better working enviroment for the adult stars & at least meeting the health service half way.

I think the world of "swinging" is miles apart from the rarified world of porn, where everything is checked and double checked. I remember many, many years ago attending a swingers party and watching a girl getting gangbanged on a bed with a sheet so filthy you could have stood it on end! Of course it was all condoms so you'd think it was all squeaky clean? Well, no, actually, because I was horrified to watch one guy reach down to the floor and pick up a used condom, put it on and then fuck the girl.

That was the last time , I went to a swingers club! The professional world of porn in Europe works fine with me, where everyone has an embossed genine test normally from the same clinic aand most people behave responsibly outside porn as well.

Condom sex in porn, kills its erotic value stone dead and unless you have a policeman on set, issuing the "Rght type" of condoms from the right packet and ensuring they are worn correctly by the studs at all times and continually checking for slippage and breakage, in the end its a load of old bollocks! Forgive the pun. The truth is in the US the pro condom lobby has a much bigger agenda and that is to make porn illegal to produce or distribute. They will either do this via legislation or by litigation, but it will happen in the end. Then the UK will copy and Europe will continue as normal,thank God!

The fact Lady Sonia uses condoms is a step in the right direction because she is a big porn star & will influence the new girls on the block, more & more girls are now using them & producers have the choice to use these girls & condoms or winge about the decline of female stars doing b/g.

As we said in earlier posts we gave up trying to get condoms as standard last year when we realised the industry is to fragmented to get anything serious across to them, it will be a natural thing to wear condoms even if it don't become law as the stars now value their health more & porn will go on as normal despite tales of dread.

Jim the amateur industry usually uses both certs & condoms, i'm not sure what swinging parties you go to or the people you met there but its a totally different world to ones we know, how many porn producers on here go out with the clinics to night clubs, colleges etc to give out condoms & info on sexual awareness...none.
Porn as made us well known in most circles & we try to give back some of that by helping new people coming into this industry & spend more hours than any other producers helping people.
We are not asking the "professional world of porn" to understand as its to money motivated to comply & health is the last thing on its list.
The so called pro star has a test gets a cert & its useless the first time they have unprotected sex yet they will use that cert for 30 days...it sounds crazy & dangerous & it is, condoms & certs are the only way forward in health terms otherwise why even have certs.

Since this discussion first started, I think it was about 5 years ago, I'd say the porn industry has shrunk by about 70%! It is a terminally ill patient and in the end the argument will be the same as arguing about what was the fastest steam locomotive ever built, interesting but irrelevant.

You are of course correct about trying to minimise risk, however, why should the fun world of porn, not have any risk? Why should a policeman or fireman or soldier put their actual lives at high risk doing their jobs, but the decadent fun loving folk of porn, make loads of money, shag loads of people and have no risk at all?

I must admit, a successful condom wearing, no risk, porn industry would have God himself scratching his head at this state of affairs, He would be saying, "Hang on a minute, this bunch want to go about shagging anything that moves, have loads of fun, makes a bunch of cash and NOT take any risks at all? No that just ain't fair.......GIRLFRIEND! Now where's that thunderbolt!?"

Don't ask me why I imagine God talking like Gok Wan, but look at all the jobs which not only have risk, but also not much fun!

Policeman, fireman, soldier, stunt man, doctor, nurse and all hospital personnel who come into contact with infection, investigative journalists, war reporters, cameramen and women, minicab drivers, bus drivers, all face risk of attack, warehouse workers, builders, carpenters, electricians, roofers, scaffolders and so on.

I think God's vengeance will be thus, yes one day you will have compulsory wearing of condoms in all commercial porn scenes and on this day porn will have all but died and non condom stuff will be still made but sold under the counter at a high price, just like the old days and many will rejoice because all the illegal , previously shot non condom stuff will rocket in value!!cigar!

That is true it will create under the counter films & sell old stock, every cloud has a silver lining & like yourself we have been in porn long enough to know how to survive.
We have got over the making porn legal, the damaging internet, the birth of DVD devaluing the much loved VHS tape, certs, ATVOD & condoms eventually & 5yrs down the line we we be debating on other subjects that threaten us & all these other things will be forgotten about.

Will the good folk of porn survive the deluge??? Will we all be plunged back into the Stone Age and reduced to carving crude pornographic images on cave walls as did our ancestors and charging people a couple of shiny stones or a pigs ear to see them?

You guys are looking at it all wrong. If the US porn industry gets shoved out, where exactly do you think they will go? They need an in place testing facility in a major city, girls that speak english, and locations that are available for shoots. gee, let me think of where that could be.

You guys should all be in LA picketing for condom use, bc then everyone will be here in England lining your pockets.
