If a producer had hired a woman for a shoot, hired the crew, the stud, got the location, the lights, etc, and the actress said she didn't want to do it for no reason other than the colour of the male performer's skin, you'd have a lot of very pissed off people and an actress who would see her number of bookings drop sharply. And quite rightly"
I say, that producer deserves a slap on the wrist for being so damn presumptious. I've had to deal with the I-don't -do-black-guys thing and am actually very considerate of this. No model has ever turned up to one of my shoots without knowing who she was going to work with. I don't like putting two complete strangers together unless I near as damndest know that its going to work out between them on the day and you know what, because I communicate with my performers and attentive to their needs (even on the race issue) they enjoy themselves and work a lot better on the day.
Sorry Mr Moderator but I felt I wanted to add my two pennies to this debate and the opposite of this can sometimes also be apparent as John will testify. Sometimes some white girls would prefer to work with a fit black guy with a big knob (and we're not necessarily talking about me either). It's all swings and roundabouts and boils down to personal preference. Because a girl prefers not to work with a person of her opposite colour don't always make her a racist. It's like poeple who stick to steak and chips won't eat ackee and saltfish. Each to their own I say. The worlds too large a place to dwell on such matters.
A word to the moderator: While I feel it is your duty to police this thread for offending comments, it is important for these things to be addressed sometimes, whether this chap was a troll or not, the question was still valid. This is a forum after all.

if your reasoning were correct you might have a point but it's not. we act upon, not just the in-plain-sight content of a particular post or thread, but also it's hidden context/history - as is the case in this instance.
Re: Attn: Golostruda
The thing is, it's supposed to be a job. Do you think it would be fair enough for a secretary, say, to announce at an interview that she only wanted to work for a white boss. Or for a teacher to tell the school's head that he/she only wanted to teach the white (or black) pupils. I've directed (non-porn) photo shoots for lifestyle magazines that have had the models snogging - by and large these people had never met and I never even gave a second thought as to what colour they were and whether that would be an issue to them (if it was it was never mentioned). I don't see how just because your shoots go further than snogging different rules apply. As I said, it's a job. No-one else is expected to get away with picking and choosing the colour of their co-workers - why should porn actresses?
Re: Attn: Golostruda
Every now and then, some worhless creature decides to stir things up with a black/white incitement.
There is no "race issue" in Britporn.
If a performer chooses not to appear with a particular person, male or female, that is their perogative, the reason is immaterial.
I've even heard a rumour that amongst a tiny misbegotten sector of the populace, Baldness is out!!
Their loss, not mine (No Pun intended)

Re: Attn: Golostruda
Working with somebody is one thing...fucking them is something else...
My wife was in porn for several years and she would choose who she wanted to work with..black or white made no difference...
The way you put it over she would be classed as a rascist by not wanting to work with a coloured guy...how would you describe her when she didnt want to work with a particular white guy?
Girls in the industry work with people they are comfortable with...
Theres a word for people like you......

Re: Attn: Golostruda
Probably they ought to be excepted because of the intimacy of the 'work situation', although I found myself thinking of shop-assistants in the Deep South who even today may have the attitude that it's not their job to serve blacks.......
If a model turned up and said she wouldn't fuck a particular (black) guy, she ought at least forfeit her fee: if she signed up for 'sight unseen', then that's her look-out. If she said she wouldn't shag ANY black guy, I simply wouldn't hire her again, unless she cared to provide an convincing explanation for her 'preference'- and I doubt anyone else would......

Re: Attn: Golostruda
Snogging someone and sucking and fucking someone as a job are very different things indeed Golostruda. I understand what you say about it being work and only a handful of proper models have this work ethic in mind, but lets not forget, a lot of non model types are doing it for a bit of a giggle backed up by a wedge in their hand at the end of the day. You'll find these types of performers are a bit more selective who they work with. Some of the girls I've worked with happened to be friends of mine that didn't want to work with the more fitter better looking guys because they'd rather do it with me- their friend and didn't go onto anything else.
Having said that: One of my friends (who shall remain nameless) wouldn't work with me and didn't particularly fancy black guys in general. She went onto work with one (black) guy in the end and thoroughly loved it. She's still not into the black guy thing, but she enjoyed it immensely- that's women for ya.

Re: Attn: Golostruda
I'm with Golostruda on this one.
If an actress refuses to work with a particular guy - for whatever reason -thats her perogative. She simply says no thanks and walks away. I do the same thing if I don't like a client, their business or the way they work. It's not the taxi rank system where your expected to take the next fare regardless of destination.
But, if an actress says I don't do any black guy, known or unknown, then that reason is racist, as is the individual holding those views. No argument.
Of course no sensible producer/director would want to insist, since the whole thing is about the chemistry between performers and frequently the Director too.

Re: Attn: Golostruda
All I'm saying is: Unpleasant encounters like this can easily be avoided. Just because a girl does a porn film doesn't mean she is open to be shagged by all and sundry. You can't equate porn stars with taxi drivers...but yes, its true, if a girl turns up on the day and decides she doesn't like the guy she has to work with for whatever reason, the shoots cancelled and no one gets paid.
