UK R18 film distribution info needed

Sorry if this is too off-topic, but you guys/girls might know all about this stuff.

I?m in the process of putting together a business plan for producing an R18 movie. There?s a couple of things I need some help on. I?m restricted by UK law to distributing the DVD?s or Videos to licensed sex shops. I need to know more about the distribution network that supplies these shops.

I?m tempted to try and handle all marketing and distribution internally due to the small number of shops (100ish?). However ? will the shops be used to dealing with a small production/distribution company, initially offering only one title? I?m worried that they are used to dealing with large distributors that will send them many videos at once, and won?t want to deal with me.

Also ? I really need to know the normal buy-in price for R18 DVD?s or Videos by sex shops? I would assume from the sale price of ?20-30, that the buy-in price would be around ?10 ? would this be a fair assumption?

Also ? Will the sex shops demand sale-or-return terms, and credit?

The only people who can answer your totally naive questiions are the purchsasers. i.e. Sex shops.
