There you go Chris, presuming again! I never said there was a lot of money being made by the producers, that's being made by the distributers!
I enjoy what I do and I put in the hours and the mileage to prove it. I can't vouch for everyone else, but I've found that the industry has changed in so much that you have to produce volume these days to make money.
And as for your other point about the models not being paid much money, well they are on the same money (in some cases less) than they were when I started in the business (16 years ago). On the other hand, photographers are being paid the same (again in some cases less) as they were when I started. That's not a moan it's a fact. I hope that answers your question!

Totally agree John, that was my point exactly...as price of living goes up on a regular basis and the rates (all be it I totally understand why) continue to remain the same its likely that it will be a lot harder to persuade girls of the likes of those on the 80s and 90s to work.
I'm not saying that some of the girls working arent good, I dont think anyone on here seems to disagree on certain of the girls still being just as good as any in the past...but there are now also a lot that dont really make the grade, and many more I'm sure that would look fantastic but arent prepared to work for the rates.
