The police wouldnt call. They'd be at your doorstep the pair of them and they will ask to enter your premises.

Dude they are the police. They could find it from his telephone number or whatever. They have access to more info on people to get them more than we realise.

If they really want to they'd triangulate you on your mobile phone so dont need to find you at home.

I think theyd be dumb to just call up first if you were a dodgy person to give you a heads up to get rid of any evidence

How come the 'police' had your tel number?

I bet its a case of the place you put the advert.

Its one thing on an adult forum or model forum, but if you posted it on a family forum where all ages use then somone under 18 could have read it, then reported you. If your new and do not have a site then its worse.

You can see what it could sound like. I am looking for girls, pop over and I will test you out.

Also the fact that you ask to test girls out. I have been on some model sites and no one has asked me to pop over to do a test.

If it was the police they would have called to your house/office, they would have tracked your mobile or ISP & found out more details about yourself than even you know.
It was just a wind up, we have cards in shop windows in Clacton & Colchester asking for people over 30yrs to be in adult films etc & have never had any trouble from police or council etc.

The method used to carry out this call demonstrates that it's very unlikely to have been from the police.

However, so many posters have advised that the police would not call from a blocked number; THIS IS NAIVE AND WRONG. In fact in most cases, a call from a police station would result in a caller id signal saying something like number unavailable. From where did posters get ideas to the contrary?

To reiterate though, I can't imagine any police officer being inept enough to handle an enquiry in such a way.

Yes I realise all of that. It's very easy for the police to find an address from a telephone number.

The point I was making was that this "police officer" was calling to ask for the address. Which I doubt if the police would do.

That's what I said!!! Ned must have received a call from the policeman's mobile...
