O/T Erotica 2003

As you may know the next Erotica is to be held at Manchester's G-Mex from 21-23 March 2003.

The reason for this post is to canvas your opinions - both male and female - what would you like to see at the show?

What do/did you think of the London shows?

If you visited one but decided not to come again, why? What would make you visit?

How can the show be improved?

The best reply - either here or to the above email address - gets 2 tickets for the Manchester show or 2 for the London show in November if preferred.

Lets have more adult fans signing autographs, more adult film companies with stands- The US industry could profit from the new relaxed censorship laws (except for paedophiles!)How about a lap dance of Erotica 2003 competition with a ?1,000 prize, charging
?20 a dance and a vote to provide prize maoney?Even a BGADF stand where we can meet these moderators and offer then chocolate cake- (or eggs!)as the case may be.
More acknowlegement of the Internet and its power to take over the censorship rules. Why not a debate on "Censorship in Britain, how far do we go?"-sorry that's a bit intellectual for us lot...getting carried away again!

A bigger venue so it is less crowded, upstairs on the gallery it was shoulder to shoulder on saturday afternooon.

When I went along - the year before last - although I wasn't expecting to see fucking and sucking on stage or any of that kind stuff they have at the 'proper' European shows, I did however expect to see more dolly birds with their tits out and maybe the odd fanny here and there. I mean, you can see this kind of stuff in any commercial strip show, so why not at a large commercial sex show? A show that is supposedly about the celebration of, well, er, sex. The erotica show struck me as being far to tame for this day and age.

Also, what I have noticed about ?northern? shows is that they don?t have as many attractions or industry dolly birds in attendance as their southern counterparts. Obviously this is because most of those in the adult entertainment biz are based in or around London and they can?t be arsed to make the trip up into the provinces ? particularly if they are only getting ?100.00 for the day. Do you acknowledge these problems? If so, how do you propose to counter them?

Charging appropriately adjusted stand costs for the size of the event (in comparison to London, Olympia) is an issue I would like to see addressed.
