Hey All,
Im very new to the business but would like to start shooting soon. What i was wondering is if there are any ladies out there who would want to work with a 1st time photographer?

Carlos good luck in your search... however some advice...
1st what value is there to a girl working with a 1st time photographer ? They will not benifit from the shoot, are you offering them money ? Your pics alas proberly wont add to their portfolio...
So you need to be willing to pay to get girls to help you advance your experience... it's proberly best you pay experienced models as new girls wont have the experience and you will proberly both just stand there looking at each other for inspiration...
Amateur photographers would benefit from working with girls who know how to pose for sure... If you cant afford one on one sessions go to group shoots, not the ideal situation as you may not get a lot of quality time but at least you will meet other togs who may share some of their experience and definetly the girls there will be experienced...
What is the purpose of you learning to shoot... do you want to do it as a proffession or a hobby... are you looking to create amateur feeling stuff or do you want to create nice shiny pics... What do you shoot with camera wise, do you use studio lighting or a on top flash ?
I heard a comment that anyone now can be a photographer, buy a cheap digital camera and snap away... but that doesnt mean you will get people to either work for free, or even like your stuff... I aint being mean by the way just saying how it is...
Put the analogy into any other proffession... I want to pull teeth, like a dentist... anyone on here gonna let me ? lol ok bad analogy

Wise words.
When models join AIR they always add pics etc.
When photographers join, so many of them don't. And then they wonder why models don't take them seriously.
Guys - the girls don't want to see that you can beat David Bailey head to head, but they do want to see that you actually take photos!
And new guys - you do want experienced models, they know what to do.

Well the thing is im willing to pay to take pics as i understand i would need to build up a reputation 1st and so on, but all i was seeing was if there might have been any girls out there willing to take pics and i would discuss money and so on with the ladies themselves.
Well i spose at 1st this is more of a hobby more than anything, but if i build up a good rep maybe ill take it further if that makes sence.
Well right now ive only got a digital camera, again cause of it only being a hobby dont quite wanna go buy loads of bits just incase i dont take it any further really.
I understand peoples concerns, but i was just trying to see wat people thought, and to see if i could maybe see if there were girls interested.

To start off with why don't you look if any of your local studios are offering group shoots or 1to1s with a model at a studio.
It will give you a chance to get some photos together and pick up some tips from other photographers.
Also it could be worth your while joining has a photographer. It's free to join.
