If you are worried about the girls being a bit noisy then use this hotel near the Dartford Crossing as the noise from the traffic coming over the bridge would even drown out the moans and groans from Angel Long !love!

What a moody hotel! Just the ticket!

In fact I know it well, having done a couple of 'deals' in the lounge there. But on the subject of filming in hotels, I would advise don't do it, unless it's one of those very individual exclusive type ones in the country. Othwise it will just look tedious, unimaginative and, well, shite - very 1996. It was a novelty back then so we got away with it. Now, when I see those tell tale bedside lamps and stands in a contemporary movie I think to myself "Oh, for fucks sake!" and have to restrain myself from smashing up the TV - as I consider that the producer is taking the Michael and being disrespectful, thinking that I (the punter) am such a lonely hormone crazed oaf that I won't notice and instead concentrate on the supposedly tantalizing piece of 'rough trade' that he has laid before me.

I reckon that if a chap really just wants to shag some chavy chaver, then he should simply hire a hooker. Why go to all the trouble and expense of filming it? And also, in the interests of aesthetics, there are many things that are better left unseen.

I mainly lurk on here but this is completely wrong IMVHO.

None of the masters of erotic photography ever, as far as I know, use/used sets and I guess there must be a reason for this.

For many of them, hotel rooms were central.

Helmut Newton, Guy Bordin, Bettina Rheims, Jeanloup Sieff, Roy Stuart, Bob Coulter to name just a few.

And the higher quality producers and directors (like Andrew Blake) don't use sets too often either.

Like people have said if you're going for an amateur look then a hotel fits with the overall "cheap and cheerful" feel. We shot alot of stuff in the studio but there's nothing more boring to me now, the endless search for new locations continues...

Well not all Holiday Inns look like Holiday Inns any more either. There's one in North London that has a lot of very boring looking tiny rooms but just two rooms, at the front, that are large, with big windows and stunning balconies. And for exactly the same price as the tiny rooms.

The other thing is that most sets in most (so called) professional studios are arranged in a way that you can only really light them from the front. And it's usually done in a very flat and uninteresting way.

I don't know the guy, but I think the way Bob Coulter (www.crazybabe.com) shoots in hotel rooms is fantastic, always making maximum use of available light. One of his favourite models, Brittany Andrews, told me he just uses a small hand held flashgun. In fact, once you know this, you can sometimes see it reflected in some of the mirrors.

Nevertheless, if there's anyone in the adult arena who shoots, on location, more inventively and with better lighting control than him, I'd love to see it.

You'd never get that sort of quality on an off the shelf set.

I use 3 hotels on a regular basis, and I walk into the hotel with flight cases, duffle bags, suit cases, check in and say its a stop over for while, gonna get our heads down for a bit til we head out again.

3 of the hotels the receptionist says 'I have given you a room where the 2 rooms next to you are vacant so don't worry about the noise', she knows EXACTLY what I'm doing and she doesnt care.

another friend who is a receptionist, tells me about prostitutes using the rooms and men coming and going, she tells me about office managers coming into for a few hours rumpy, she told me about 1 guy who comes in for a bath and shower every friday before he goes home, who she things is getting jiggy with another man behind his wives back.

I have used everywhere from Mal Maison to Premier Lodge, to Travellodge to Hilton to The Midland never encountered a problem.

One thing I learned about hotels is if you filming a scene and the model is travelling some distance, she can have the room and travel back the next day, or this is especially handy if you shooting more than 1 scene as you can shoot til midnight and the model just crashes there.

We love using Travel Inns, good service, big clean rooms, large bathroms & you can get pissed in the bar afterwards. The staff usually give you a knowing look & smile but as long as they get their money they are not bothered.
We know about 20-30 couples & girls that use them all the time as well as countless swingers & company/pro guys hiring escorts. Its a wonder they have room for the normal travellers xxx
