You like me are from the old school
Through my prior work in fashion, being a serious clubber, and djing in some of Londons better clubs for pay of scotch/coke, I've mixed with models whether fashion or glamour/adult since the very early 70's.
Prior to the internet a model had to have that WOW factor. Today if you look at Net Model and One Model Place as examples, anyone can put up a webcam pic and call themselves a model. Gone are the days of girls going in to an agency's office with a couple of amateur pics, then the agency sending them to known photographers for a test shoot before taking them on...
Apart from Walpole today, how many other glamour/adult agencies have an office and land line phone number. Commercial model agencies still work from offices but glamour/adult has moved to the net.
Then again with the net a lot more variations are around. BBW is mega and how many of these large ladies would have been taken on by an agency in the past. Today they can mnake a good living from modelling. They may not be everytones taste but... And it goes on for models with tattoo's and multi piercings. There's a market for so much more in this 21st century.
