Glamour accountancy

Post by Michelle Monroe »

Hi guys,
Anyone used MBM Associates before? (www.mbmuk.com)
I'm thinking of employing them as my accountants but would like to hear any testamonials first.

as long as it isnt that company in monacho - sorry cant remember there name.

they tried to convince me that if i paid the $1000 to them i would never have to pay any tax as it was from an offshore employer with no tax implications

they were rip off merchants. if u are UK domicile u have to pay uk tax whetr ur compnay is in monacho or ethiopia. if u live in uk and make most of ur coins here u have to pay uk tax.

hope this isnt them yr taking about.
after i asked for the guys adress as as a form of trust he pegged it faster than shit off a shovel.

Blimey Sandy we were also told a very similar story by some merchant but the amount was ?2000 to set up an off shore account and the claim was we?d NEVER pay tax again (YIPEE)! What he failed to mention was we?d have to live abroad to get it validated (DOH).
Michelle tax is a crucial thing to get right and the good old boys at the IR know the tricks of our industry and will remove your car and Gee string if you get it wrong.
These guys may be fine and honest but always be careful with matters of tax.
