IMO, people, and especially contributors, deserve a more informational explanation than "server problems" after nearly 3 months of down time, but the good news of course is that it was not a legal problem.

However, I find it odd that the server operator is staying silent as if nothing happened. Isn't this website important enough yet for the porn community?

Egafd is volunteer-led and only seeks to cover its costs. Even that little
can often mean a hand-to-mouth existence.
However: those regulars that were contactable, were contacted. Most peeps
hide their email addresses, and it's quite difficult to post a general 'death
notice' when you have no platform on which to do so.
The tech guys are not part of the admin staff and the latter [me, certainly]
do not generally understand the intricacies of IT. So 'server issues' will
have to do.
