TOP 5 European stars?
If you had to choose the top 5 female and the top 5 male stars in Europe ever, who those might be? And why?

Five all time top stars is very restrictive, but my personal choice
would be (in no particicular order) the following. The reason(s) for that choice is
purely personal and has nothing to do with their popularity, career longevity, international acclaim
or other considerations:
=Laura Angel - liked her from the very start. Her eyes, mouth, skin color, face, pointy breasts. In whatever scene
I saw her in, she never disappointed.
=Silvia Saint - can't think of nothing negative about her, except that after
she retitred from porn she went on to make lame lesbo scenes. Very hot, enthusiastic,
and very beatiful... really made her scenes very enjoyable for me
=Rita Faltoyano - very attractive, nice plush body, heavenly REAL breasts, with the only negative
physical feature being those (large) moles. Wish she had invested some money to try to rid of them.
=Monica Sweetheart - one of the most attractive Euro porn performers
ever seen, nice body, never shied away from anals and such. Always a joy to behold. Had the innocent look
of the girl next door.
=Angelica Bella - perhaps "older" looking that the others mentioned above.
The kind of woman you feared bringing home to meet your folks. She had a lusty look about her
that was hard to resist.
As you may have noted these ladies all worked some years back. I can't think of any "recent" stars
that even come close to their looks or lustiness. And it has little to do with circus
acts that the newer generration is capable of doing. These ladies had class, the looks and enthusiasm
that the new generation just doe not possess..
For the males, the selection is even more difficult to make since the majority of the
euro males often has disappinted me.
=David Perry - easygoing, good looking, less kinky than say R. Langin and other actors.
=Steve Holmes - Very long career. Sometimes his looks (in more recent times) were not the best
to observe, but her always had a mischievous way about him when dealing witgh the ladies
=Jean-Yves Le Castel - easygoing actor and director, wild guy. Well endowed. Always seemed to be enjoying himself,
which is a good signal that the scenes he stars in or directs will be hot.
=Mike Foster. He could act. Perhaps not the most attractive, and not the best with face
complexion, but did fairly well for himself. He looked like your everyman
=Philippe Dean. Perhaps for the same reasons as Foster. He looked like a regular
guy. Did their jobs and that was it

I didn't think BSX was still working. Rocco has looked after himself better
than others but the midlife paunch is starting to show...
The real horror, though, is Soine - he's working for Oldje now and looks
about 16 months pregnant. I watched one scene - purely in the service of
research - but it was a pretty horrific experience. I'm not a fan generally
of young/old [and then only if the girl is the young one] but I do concede
that, done well, it can be mildly entertaining. Not in this case, though -
this resembled drug-fuelled-manga-meets-Croenenberg.
I couldn't narrow down my girlie faves to 500, let alone 5.

Bruno SX is UNFORTUNATELY still working, if fucking ugly grannies for 21Sextury is
really meaningful. But he was always repulsive to me even when he was younger.
Now he has hair shaved off, paunchy and hairy, and ugly to boot. Now seems to favor
fingering and trying to make these grannies "squirt".
Philippe Soine makes those horrible "amateur" scenes/movies with unattractive
women/girls (and with condom) just to appear he is still relevant in porn.
R. Siffredi has just again announced his "retirement" from porn.
His more recent movies are execrable. He seems to favor gang bang

best EURO performers, for variety and personal reasons.
They do not appeal to me. All have had considerable long careers. Some have been
very successful at it. Many have no idea what it means "it's time to retire".
R.M. looks awaful and has been loooking physically unfit for quite some time now.

To be classified as a "top star" one has to look (at least I do) at the overall career of the individual,
whether short or long, whether in front or behind the camera.
But of course the longer the career, the more there is to examine and make
an overall appreciation of their oeuvre. And it gets tricker when one has
to consider plot-driven movies with the gonzo all-sex movies prevalent in
more modern times.
Sure, every mainstream and porn performer (especially the top stars) has done
some crappy inferior stuff from time to time, but overall there should be more positives than
negatives to elevate them to the "top star" status.
Some are born with natural physical good looks, and some already go into porn
with extra sized egos which get worst as succes and time progresses. The same with ambition.
Porn is not the same as with mainstream cinema or music. We know vey little about what's
inside the individual's mind, passions, ambitions, personal histories. When we
openly criticize a porn performer, certains fans or people who claim they "personally"
know that person will often say, "he/she is not really like that". Well, all we (the
porn consumer) gets to see or hear is the porn scene/movie/DVD that person was cast in.
We know really nothing else. Everything is left to our judgment on esssentially a visual basis
of a scene. We do not get to read a full book-length "biography" written by others.
And the various interviews that we read from time time on a magazine/web site/blog really tell us nothing
about the individual either. You hardly know their real names, date or place of birth, family
history. They even refuse to divulge what they earn per scene, even though the casual porn
consumer is keenly aware of the going scene "rates". They have built a wall, that is
nearly impenetrable to outsiders of the industry. There is a certain facade of
porn adulation that helped with the rise and occasionally fall of these porn personalities.
So you are left to ponder why is R.M or R.J. still working in porn? Why do they think
that they still mattter, or that they really have something to contribute to the medium,
or that they really have a large fan base that really is prepared to pay to see them
in a movie/scene? What is the point of some of these over-the-hill performers who continue
to appear in non-sex scenes? Why are so many "old" and very aging actors/actresses still working
in porn?
