In my private opinion, "ganz privat" is truly German pron, which is even livesound. It has something unique. And as I've understood, all such stuff was shot in towns of Nordrhein-Westfalen

Well, Magma/Videorama are bigger companies and simply released more stuff. My impression is that DBM is newer than Viola. Viola's stuff is (I think) mostly late 1980s.

No idea. It was never my taste to begin with, and anyway I emigrated from Germany quite some time ago.

No, they appeared approximately at the same time - in 1987. Dolly Buster used to take a part in films of both lables. At that time she had natural breasts.
Viola went on producting up to middle 90s. The studio managed to make some DVDs. On some VHS-covers I saw inscriptions with the year of production (1992 and 1994). On EGAFD their films tagged as tapes of early\middle 90s either.
The first serieses of DBM - Moonrise and Undercover began their existing in 1987. DBM reissues their old stuff onto DVD sometimes like Videorama and Magma
