ehhhh....? .wbmp? What's that all about?
Have you tried right clicking the file and Open with...?
Also, some version of winrar chops the files like .002, .003 etc. so that might be it, too... I'm not sure does 7-zip handle those. Give it a try.

WBMPs were intended for d/l to mobile phones, AFAIK.

Right-clicking [or left-and-dropdown menu, for that matter]
just gives options for compressing, the very opposite of what
I'm after.

What OS are you using?


I don't really understand the wbmp thing, though... I mean, it's not a compressed file in the sense of compressed archives, so it really shouldn't even be possible to open it with the programs you mentioned unless it's a botched up extension renaming shenanigan or something among those lines.

Plenty of search engines allow you to search via physical characteristics
