Hi all
If I remember well "le pensionnat des petites salopes" was released in 1981-82 in a 3D version in a few Paris X-rated theaters.
To be more specific, it was a stereoscopic version, and spectators were given green/red glasses to enjoy the so called 3D effect.
I haven't found any information on the web regarding this version.
If this information is correct, then Pierre B. Reinhardt must have had a lot of money from the producer because special equipment is needed for this kind of movies.
Do I remember well or I am I losing brain cells too fast ?...lol...!

Re: "Le pensionnat des petites salopes" 3D version ?
I was young at this era, but i remember in 1982 on French TV the first 3D movie shown on national TV Screen, on "la derniere sceance", a film called (if my memory don't fail) "la creature du lac noir " (or something like that).
Special glasses (one eye green, other red) were widely released at that time (tv magazine, others), and maybe the "pensionnat des petites salopes 3D version" used the frenzy of 3d cinema to catch a new audience, some more spectator.
It's true that it's more expensive than a traditional movie, i remember that 3 cameras were used instead of one to make that 3d effect.

Yeah I remember that one, I saw it in a cinema near the Gare Saint-Lazard. For the price of a seat, you could stay eight hours in a row and watch all the films on show in the several rooms, provided your eyeballs could stand so many marvels !

If I remember well, only a few short scenes were in 3D and announced by a sign on the screen (I clearly remember JPA moving his piece of meat in 3D. Nothing to be afraid of though !)

You don't need 3 cameras but only 2.
