Does anyone recognise this film?

I saw this film well over ten years ago and would love to see it again does anyone recognise this I thought it was called the french connection but i think thats wrong.

The film revolves around this detective who is trying to catch a group of criminals, I remember one scene when where the detective drags a prostitute to a public toilet and makes her give him a blow job.

I also remember a scene where the gansters are having a foursome in one of the gansters home, with the butler wathing them through a crack in the door, he puts his legs behind his head and starts sucking his dick until he topples over and into the room with the gangsters, he then excuses himself and soes downstairs where the maid is doing the washing up, he grabs hold of her and they have sex with each other on the kitchen table, again the butler puts one of his legs behind his leg.

The film ends with the detective beeing arrested ad sent to jail and the laast scene is him meeting a rather friendly cellmate.

I know thats not alot to go on but it was so long ago i can hardly remember it, i appreciate any help.

Yes I have, I'm surprised its on DVD being so old.
