There is an American video (early 90s?), starring Jon Dough I think, where something like this happens, but I've forgotten the title, sorry.

That sounds like the film I have in mind. It may not have been Jon Dough, but Peter North. Or maybe they were both in it. I also have the vague feeling that Ron Jeremy was in it, but none of that is any help I know as they all did so many films. The name Charlie also comes to mind either as the female character, the female star or the title.

I think the male star was a science student, mocked for studying too much, who created his ideal girl in some sort of chemistry experiment.

I no longer have the video. Since it seems to be an American film you might have better luck asking on the rame (rec.arts.media.erotica) newsgroup.
