I notice in another thread that Gina Wild is now doing television. It has always interested me how some porn stars seem to be able to transfer to the non adult entertainment industry, yet others seem always to carry the 'stigma' of their life in porn with them and are unable to make the transfer. It seems to have little to do with the type of porn they appeared in, either. The best example I can think of is the mature American porn actress Kitty Fox(x). Her porn films can hardly be regarded as politically correct, yet she does appear in ordinary films and is, apparently, quite highly regarded as a 'straight' actress. Can anyone explain the reasons for these ambiguities and give examples of European actresses who have made the move successfully, or have tried and failed to do so?

Lancaume/Raffaella recently did 'Baise-moi' (albeit in pretty sexual roles), but I don't know if this led to any further stuff......

people heard that she had tried to canalize the public fuss about her former porn career with the help of lawyers/solicitors .. but without much success. there was/is too much stuff shot in the last years ... minimum a dozen porn movies as DILARA.
but there is so much talent for acting in her ... she will surely continue her career as "serious" actress.

Michaela Schaffrath former "Gina Wild" or Kelly Trump ... with tv appearances and similar activities ... i would say :
"next year in jerusalem" ... both are tough & smart but with limited talents.
