Why no Brit Porn Celebs?

Thank you AP. There are of course a number of British actresses who have distinguished themselves in European porn. Quite a few of them, although by no means all, seem to have been particularly well endowed in the bust department, e.g. Titanic Toni and Kirsten Halborg. Whether British women are bigger up top or not than their European counterparts is, perhaps, a subject for a seperate topic! On the subject of celebrity status, the small minority in the German industry who could, arguably, claim to have achieved that in recent years, seem to me to be remarkably unappealing. Some regular, but fairly anonymous actresses are better.

yep .. i found the situation of German porn already strange.


maybe characteristic:
the first true "porn icons" in Germany were non germans
as Teresa Orlowski (from Poland) & Dolly Buster ( CZ) -
both not even of anyway german origin.
Sarah Young was seen too as a German based porn star by many German porn enthusiasts. Jay Busty made a complete series for BB in the leading role.

there were some attempts to build up a "star" - but without success in the long term: the Rauch sisters, Gina Colany, Anita F., ... ???

i believe there was only Kelly Trump -- with a national & international famousness in a way. perhaps Karin Schubert in the 80?s ... or veteran Sandra Nova ...

german speaking porn actresses in USA in the past ?? yep .. but not top
Helga Sven, Krista Lane, Angela Baron, Valeria ..
and few made their holidays in USA with porn as Lady Berlin ...

My opinion is valid for the year 2000... in Germany

Problem is the set of the producers (approx. 50 in Germany)
The actors are problem. (income+negotiation)
Problem is the language ability between actor and Director.

PS:
Many British girls and women have been named in the forum.
However, still is missing Kay Parker(GB/USA) for producer Beate UHSE (Germany)

One of several important results: The Brit Girls are so attractive that some European Producers on the Continent signed her although the East Euro-Rivals were cheaper in payment!!!
