Of all the actresses who have acted the part of Austrian madame Josefine Mutzenbacher over the years, I wonder which one is considered the best? My vote goes to Andrea Werdien in 'Aus dem Tagebuch der Josefine Mutzenbacher'.

Although I consider Andrea Werdien the most competent of the actresses who played Josefine, I think that Vanessa Velvet in 'Josefine Mutzenbacher, Die Hure von Wien' was the most attractive, although this film certainly wasn't Hans Billian's finest. I was never one of Patricia Rhomberg's greatest fans. There was no arguing about her enthusiasm though.
