Trying to find long lost film from college days. Can only remember a little about it. Sorry to be vague - but all help welcomed.................
French lang (poss dubbed from German)
Made late 80's early 90's
Mainly set in a mechanics garage, featuring a gorgeous dark (bob-like cut) haired lady (poss wearing polka-dot dress in one scene)
Seem to remember a BMW being jacked up a lifting ramp, and cut aways to hydraulic pistons.
There was also a scene with a curly haired blond, wearing large rimed glasses on a table.
Possibly a scene in a caravan/motorhome
Possibly a scene in a rather grand stately home, with thunder and lightning outside.
Sure I also remember a dumpy old fella who crops up in German/French films from time to time, though I maybe confusing several films here.
Anyhow,
any help on this guys and girls would be greatly appreciated - would be like seeing an old friend again!!
Salut, and thanks

Re: Long-shot. Help to find movie ID.
Can't identify the film, sorry.
But I reckon the "dumpy old fella" is Robert Le Ray.
He played the lead in Vydra's "Hoffmann und S?hne" and "Roulette", and the butler in "Je suis a prendre".
