There, there
Don't let it's worry you.
Just keep reading the Daily Fail and fawning over those wedding photos of Pippa in her bridal gown.

her belief that she was destined for a minimum 50/60 seat majority is now in ruins. at best she'll get a few seats more than she's got simply because of the ukip vote going elsewhere but in seats where ukip came second to the tories that makes no difference only those where the tories were second or third by small margins.
Personally I think we're looking at a hung parliament with either a tory minority government or labour/liberal/snp/plaid/greens coalition along with another tory leadership election.

I really hope you're right, but I'm not getting too confident just yet.
There's still a full two weeks plus to go. That's plenty of time for Blair or Mandelson to put a spanner in the works.
Plenty of time for the Daily Fail or the Torygraph to start running Corbyn eats babies stories.
They are still going on about the IRA, which is rediculous when you think about it. HM Queen met Martin McGuiness several times when he was Deputy First Minister, shook his hand, had a nice chat with him and everything.
If Queenie can put it behind her you'd think others could move on.
Although with Brexit we will most likely end up with a hard border between the North and South again with the troubles kicking off again and back to the good old days of the 1970s and 80s.
It's going to be an interesting couple of weeks.

well there's plenty of world leaders who have at some point been labelled a traitor, a security threat or even a terrorist by the then government of the country they went on to lead and many of them have enjoyed the support of Britain when it finally happened. I'm always optimistic though I'd have to admit I'm usually wrong to be but I think she's got an implosion or two left in her yet. nine points in an opinion poll is nothing, weren't labour a similar distance when Kinnock thought he already had the keys to number ten? although you do get the feeling Theresa may might change the locks.
Re: More Censorship post Election?
As I say a long time to go until the poll yet.
I have just heard about the terrible events in Manchester.
You can bet Mrs May will be milking that for all the votes she can.

and campaigning postponed until further notice that's handy for her as well.
Re: More Censorship post Election?
Back to the thread title very likely with the terror attack in London a few weeks ago and now Manchester. Presuming the Conservatives get a majority and she remains PM she will have a full 5 years to implement it too. The comment after the London attack that Whatsapp etc ought not to be encrypted set the tone.
The point all this misses it that the real hardcore, in more meanings than one, will just use other means while removing individual free choice for the majority.
With the age at which children get their own tablet and smartphone constantly falling I'm not against some form of opt-in rather than opt-out for all content only suitable of adults, not just porn. However the details of those that opt-in must be kept extremely secure and they must not be judged for their choice. The means of opting in must not be an easy route for scamming / hacking e.g. include requirement to hold a credit card then the details obtained and used for fraudulent purchases. It has to be global too, a separate log-in just to view each site is simply not reasonable.
