Cameron meets McSturgeon
Would love to be a fly on the wall....."Good morning Nicola. I hope you are well". "Reet ya sassenach cunt gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme etc...."
Re: Cameron meets McSturgeon
Best way to keep her quiet would be to threaten to give her what she wants.
Take away the Bank of Mum & Dad and see how she gets on.

We have need of you again, great king.

Argie
Well, Sturgeon is in no position to demand anything and get her way.
The SNP had hoped to hold the balance of power but in the scenario in which the Tories have an overall majority, the SNP will lose any amendments that they choose to make to the Scotland Bill.

Re: Argie
My company accountant is a Scot and is blunt in saying if Scotland tried to raise its own taxation it would struggle to get past 6 months before going bust. Simply not enough high earners and major companies to support an entire nation. On a positive note my beloved Tunnock's waifers are still in good supply.
Nightmares
Dave must be having nightmares tonight and not just because he had to spend the day with Nicola. He's a unionist but with the price of oil so low he hasn't got much reason to want to hang on the Scotland apart from pride and to be able to tell the grandkids that he was the PM who kept the UK together. If he was able to ditch Scotland, he'd be PM for as long as the Tories want him. I notice wee Alex Salmond wasn't at the talks today or did I miss him?

Why would the deputy leader be at the leaders' meeting?

Too busy shit stirring in London.....
Re: Nightmares
Swinney was there who is her deputy; not sure what Salmond's role is at the moment but surely they are gonna have difficulty keeping him under control if they don't give him something to do apart from grinning for 5 years.

Re: Nightmares
Salmond will get his very effective media machine to eclipse Sturgeon. The UK take more notice of what happens in Parliament than the Welsh Assembly, Holyrood and Belfast. She will find herself out of the spotlight once the election result dies off.
